Legal Searches

Professional Information Consultants have been conducting legal searching in Western Australia for almost 40 years. We have access to all permissible Government agencies and our working knowledge of each agency ensures expedient results and a high level of accuracy.

Professional Information Consultants regularly conducts litigation or due diligence searches within the Supreme and District Courts of Western Australia and where we are on a first name basis with staff at these Registries. We have been attending these Registries for over 37 years and we are extremely familiar with their workings and procedures.

Professional Information Consultants also conduct a wide range of other agency searches inclusive of property pre-purchase searching including, council, water and land tax notices, planning certificates, gas networks, main roads, western power, contaminated sites, heritage and national trust and the list goes on. A full list of our searches follows;

Supreme and District Courts of Western Australia

We attend these Registries on a regular basis to conduct litigation or due diligence “name searches” to determine if any individual or company has been involved in legal proceedings through these registries. Searches are ordered by this office and then carried out by Court staff as the public are not authorised to access Court computers in Western Australia. We then attend each Registry to collect and pay for the results which are then scanned and emailed to your office.

We are also able to assist with other services at these Registries such as filing and collection of documents.

We currently act for many well known national solicitors and nationwide information brokers.

Due to privacy restrictions set by this Registry it is not possible to conduct a general litigation search within this Court unless we represent a party to the action. In some instances, an application can be made to the Registrar outlining the reasons why a search is required and each application is determined on its own merit. Please contact our office should you require any further information in relation to this.

We are able to offer other services at this Registry such as the filing and collection of documents.

We are also able to attend to restricted searches within the Western Australian Federal Court Registry.
